Passwords
There are two passwords that are needed to utilize some of the list features and to access certain web pages(s). The first is what is called a personal PW. This PW is associated and assigned to your email address you use to receive your CARE-TBI List mail, the address you are subscribed with.
You will need this PW to access the List archives (past list messages) at: http://listserv.tbinet.org/archives/care-tbi.html You will also need it for certain commands and to log into our web interface at: http://listserv.tbinet.org/scripts/wa-tbinet.exe?SUBED1=care-tbi This web interface takes the place of using email commands to change Listserv settings to your account. You may want to use this instead of trying to remember the various email commands.
To obtain your Personal PW, you simply address a new message to the "Listserv" address (listserv@listserv.tbinet.org). In the body of the message just type:
PW ADD XXXXX
Where XXXXX is the PW you want to use. You can use 4 to 8 letters or numbers in your PW. Once you send this, Listserv will send you back a confirmation message (via email), just follow the instructions. If you ever forget your personal PW, you just send the below command:
PW RESET
Listserv will then "Reset" your PW and you can choose a new one as in the first step above. Just wait for the confirmation from the "Reset" command first.
The second PW you need is to access the members Biography Page. When you first go there you are prompted for a User Name and a Password. Since this page (the one you are reading right now) is a Public page, I cannot give you this information here. If you are a recent subscriber, this information is in your Welcome Letter you received when joining. If you no longer have this message you will have to ask the list owners at: care-tbi-request@listserv.tbinet.org or another member on the list. Please remember to keep this info as well as your personal PW secret and in a safe place.
